Global Warming

The leader of the world is facing the most complicated problem, namely global
warming. Warning of tougher environmental community, for the survival of
humans and sentient inhabitants of planet Earth, which is associated with
greenhouse gases, mainly generated by burning fuels and forests.
Global emissions of carbon dioxide rose by the largest amount on record in 2010,
and tends to increase. What makes the worried scientists will be increasingly
difficult to avoid extreme climate change in coming decades.

But economic and political problems that must be resolved before a concerted
effort worldwide to reduce emissions can begin to get a simple action, especially
in the face of global economic slowdown.
Nearly two decades, the UN has sponsored global talks, known as the United
Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, an international treaty
signed by 194 countries in 1992 to work together to discuss global climate
change and its impacts.

Conference on the consensus principle, which means that one of the participating
countries can take the deal. In recent years, the meetings often ended in failure.
Differences of opinion and obligations different from industrialized countries and
developing countries. The question arises, who will pay to help poor countries to
adapt, the urgency to protect tropical forests and the need to rapidly develop
and deploy clean energy technologies.
In the negotiation process followed by several groups, including the poorest
countries who believe their needs are ignored in the competition for major
economic powers.

What arises from Global Warming.
1. The melting of ice at the north pole and south pole.

Global warming is a direct result of ice melting in the polar regions north and
south poles are continue.
For example
melting ice in Greenland has almost reached 19 million tons.
In the
past 4 years the volume of ice in the Arctic in the summer of 2007 only
a half. The melting ice runs much faster than scientists predicted.
Initial prediction ever made estimates that the polar ice caps will disappear by
the year 2040 until 2100. But predictions scientist sare less appropriate
because, in fact ice in the north and south poles melting faster.
There are
key factors that they do not Include in existing prediction models.
By using the latest ice data, as well as a more accurate prediction model, a NASA
climate expert makes new predictions that are very surprising: Almost all of the
North polar ice caps will disappear between the years 2008-2012.
A natural phenomenon again shows how serious this condition. On March 6,
2008, a chunk of ice covering 414 square kilometers in Antarctica collapsed.
According to the researchers, plate-shaped ice a very large permanent floating
around1609 kilometers to the southwest Antarctic.
According to estimates
chunk of ice had been there since 1500 years ago.
But It's due to global warming, the slab of ice called Wilkins Ice Shelf is very
rarely collapse.
The collapse of the
ice causes the ice remaining 12,950 square kilometers,
5.6 kilometers plus the adjacent pieces of ice and connects the two islands.
In the approximate last minute chunks of ice can also vanish, and half the total
area of ice would disappear in the next few years.

2. Sea levels will rise.
The melting of ice at the north pole and south pole directly resulted in rising sea
water levels. The researchers estimated when all of Greenland melts, the sea
levels would rise up to 7 meters is enough to drown the whole beach and the
harbor and the lowlands around the world. It fantastic.

3. Changes in the weather gets extreme.
NASA stated that global warming results in more extreme changes in weather
and climate of the earth. Rainfall can be predicted to change without causing
flooding in one place, but the drought struck elsewhere.
Typhoons and tropical storms tend to be popping up more and more powerful.

Without the weather forecast, it can be seen the effect on the environment around you. The temperature of the hot air and no failure by. predict the arrival of the rainy season or dry season that can result in harm to an interest. Try to look at cases of extreme storms that have never hit a region. In recent years more and more common in areas that have never experienced it and disrupt shipping in the sea and air travel.
This natural phenomenon has hit almost all countries in the world, for example hurricanes, snowstorms, floods and tornadoes. From this year into next year is always a record. You can view the information through the mass media and the internet and can contemplate. Not a single continent in the world apart from this extreme climate change.

4. The more extreme heat waves.
Global warming results in more extreme wave. Year 2007 is a new record-breaking year for the temperature reached by the usual heat wave hit the United States in the area St. George, Utah holds the highest record with temperatures reaching 48 degrees Celsius. Temperatures in St.. George was followed by Las Vegas and Nevada, which reached 47 degrees Celsius, as well as several other cities in the United States that the average temperature above 40 degrees Celsius. Death Valley area in California had reached 53 degrees Celsius temperature.
The heat wave resulted in hundreds of dead freshwater fish, damaging crops, triggering a severe forest fire, and killed farm animals.
In Southern Europe region has also been under fire and intense heat wave resulted in loss of life with most casualties from France and is the country with the highest death toll since unprepared residents and local governments on the phenomenon of the great heat wave. Other casualties extends from England, Italy, Portugal, Spain and other European countries. Heat waves also cause severe droughts and crop failures evenly distributed in the area of Europe.
Maybe you are not experiencing heat waves like that experienced by other States, but through observation and that you feel, you should be able to also feel how hot the temperature around, realize how often you turn the air conditioner from morning until noon.

5. Endless glacier / Sources of Water World.
The melting glaciers threaten the water supply, and in the long run will increase sea levels around the world. That's what happened in the present, the world's glaciers are now melting up to a point that is very dangerous.
NASA scientists have now realized that the melting of glaciers and melting ice in the polar north and south poles of the earth and rising global temperatures heat, until rising sea levels is evidence that the planet Earth is in danger. Surely the human inhabitants of planet earth who should be responsible for this problem.

What you should do.
Before the effects of global warming is getting worse, it could not hurt if you learn some steps and efforts in addressing issues of global warming. Of the many ways in which to overcome this problem, one solution to reduce global warming are :

1. By using the fuel and gas efficiently.
Go together in one car with family or friends to be safe steps to conserve fuel, go with one car when the same direction and purpose. Or by public transportation is very save fuel because it can carry more passengers than the private car. Cultivate the habit of walking or biking in addition to very good for health, also can save the earth from motor vehicle pollution.

2. Maintain the balance of nature and forest conservation.
Another way you can do is preserve the forest and nature. With the forest serves to maintain the balance of water resources and also maintain the quality of the air by absorbing CO2 to reduce greenhouse gas levels. Trees are a source of oxygen for living things.

One large tree can supply oxygen for two people. The roots of the tree serves to absorb and store water so that it can help avoid flooding in the rainy season and drought in the dry season. Shade trees can serve as a natural air conditioner because it can lower the temperature of the hot air around it.

3. Use of materials from paper effectively.
Another way that can be done to reduce the effects of global warming is to limit the usage of paper. Using a piece of paper which it has been cut down a tree. Use paper effectively, for example, try to print a print out back and forth on each paper. When going to print out files that are not too important, try to use scrap paper that behind it is still empty.

4. Conserve electrical energy source.
Choose a home or other lighting to use energy-efficient lighting, and electric household appliance use sparingly. Try to use computers effectively.

5. Switch to organic fertilizer.
Farmers with a habit of using chemical fertilizers it is time to switch to use organic fertilizers. Because chemical fertilizers containing nitrogen elements are then transformed into N2O that can cause the Greenhouse Gas effect 320 times greater than CO2.

6. Reducing the use of materials from plastic elements.
Plastic is a difficult element breaks down, it took 1,000 years for parse in the soil. Try switching to the material of paper or cloth.
Without realizing all human activity on this earth will result in an environment where each of the uncontrolled use of energy and patterns of human life today, is to influence the environmental damage. Let's keep this planet.

Have you come to think? Thank you.
