Global Warming

The leader of the world is facing the most complicated problem, namely global
warming. Warning of tougher environmental community, for the survival of
humans and sentient inhabitants of planet Earth, which is associated with
greenhouse gases, mainly generated by burning fuels and forests.
Global emissions of carbon dioxide rose by the largest amount on record in 2010,
and tends to increase. What makes the worried scientists will be increasingly
difficult to avoid extreme climate change in coming decades.

But economic and political problems that must be resolved before a concerted
effort worldwide to reduce emissions can begin to get a simple action, especially
in the face of global economic slowdown.
Nearly two decades, the UN has sponsored global talks, known as the United
Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, an international treaty
signed by 194 countries in 1992 to work together to discuss global climate
change and its impacts.

Conference on the consensus principle, which means that one of the participating
countries can take the deal. In recent years, the meetings often ended in failure.
Differences of opinion and obligations different from industrialized countries and
developing countries. The question arises, who will pay to help poor countries to
adapt, the urgency to protect tropical forests and the need to rapidly develop
and deploy clean energy technologies.
In the negotiation process followed by several groups, including the poorest
countries who believe their needs are ignored in the competition for major
economic powers.

What arises from Global Warming.
1. The melting of ice at the north pole and south pole.

Global warming is a direct result of ice melting in the polar regions north and
south poles are continue.
For example
melting ice in Greenland has almost reached 19 million tons.
In the
past 4 years the volume of ice in the Arctic in the summer of 2007 only
a half. The melting ice runs much faster than scientists predicted.
Initial prediction ever made estimates that the polar ice caps will disappear by
the year 2040 until 2100. But predictions scientist sare less appropriate
because, in fact ice in the north and south poles melting faster.
There are
key factors that they do not Include in existing prediction models.
By using the latest ice data, as well as a more accurate prediction model, a NASA
climate expert makes new predictions that are very surprising: Almost all of the
North polar ice caps will disappear between the years 2008-2012.
A natural phenomenon again shows how serious this condition. On March 6,
2008, a chunk of ice covering 414 square kilometers in Antarctica collapsed.
According to the researchers, plate-shaped ice a very large permanent floating
around1609 kilometers to the southwest Antarctic.
According to estimates
chunk of ice had been there since 1500 years ago.
But It's due to global warming, the slab of ice called Wilkins Ice Shelf is very
rarely collapse.
The collapse of the
ice causes the ice remaining 12,950 square kilometers,
5.6 kilometers plus the adjacent pieces of ice and connects the two islands.
In the approximate last minute chunks of ice can also vanish, and half the total
area of ice would disappear in the next few years.

2. Sea levels will rise.
The melting of ice at the north pole and south pole directly resulted in rising sea
water levels. The researchers estimated when all of Greenland melts, the sea
levels would rise up to 7 meters is enough to drown the whole beach and the
harbor and the lowlands around the world. It fantastic.

3. Changes in the weather gets extreme.
NASA stated that global warming results in more extreme changes in weather
and climate of the earth. Rainfall can be predicted to change without causing
flooding in one place, but the drought struck elsewhere.
Typhoons and tropical storms tend to be popping up more and more powerful.

Without the weather forecast, it can be seen the effect on the environment around you. The temperature of the hot air and no failure by. predict the arrival of the rainy season or dry season that can result in harm to an interest. Try to look at cases of extreme storms that have never hit a region. In recent years more and more common in areas that have never experienced it and disrupt shipping in the sea and air travel.
This natural phenomenon has hit almost all countries in the world, for example hurricanes, snowstorms, floods and tornadoes. From this year into next year is always a record. You can view the information through the mass media and the internet and can contemplate. Not a single continent in the world apart from this extreme climate change.
